Choosing error correction
Medium is a good default. Higher correction can help a code scan after minor damage or when printed, but it produces a denser pattern and can be harder to scan at small sizes.

Does the generated QR code expire?
No. It contains the text you entered and does not depend on a Boring Tools account or redirect service.
Why will my QR code not scan?
Check the encoded text, leave enough white space around the code, and avoid printing a dense code too small.
Is the text private?
The tool creates the code in your browser. Do not encode sensitive information into a QR code you intend to share publicly.
